Our Story - A Legacy of Local Craftsmanship | Finishing Work and Cosmetics

Our journey began over a decade and a half ago with a simple mission: to provide a higher standard of Finishing Work and Cosmetics in NYC. We realized that New Yorkers needed more than just a team with a brush; they need artisans who understood the uniqueness of NYC interiors, from tight stairwells and strict building COIs, to the delicate nature of historic walls. Houm brings 15 years experience in production and set design for film, also a background as a fine artist and mixed-media sculptor, and an aesthetic sensitivity and judgement that's unparalleled in the business. Clients from diverse cultures and backgrounds- lawyers, doctors and financiers, musicians and celebrities, college students and folks with day-jobs of all sorts have improved their living spaces with Houm. I have worked as a production and set designer for films, theater, music videos, and special events. I am also a painter and mixed-media sculptor. In university I learned to build sets and work with tools as part of my directing major. I understand how things are made and how spaces can be transformed.
